Patanjali de la Rocha

Patanjali de la Rocha (Mexicatl, Kalinga) was born on Tongva lands (now known as Los Angeles, California)and spent much of their youth traveling nationally and internationally exploring intentional communities and healing practices until moving to Duwamish and Coast Salish Territories (Seattle, Washington) in 2013. Patanjali is a mixed media artist who draws from the lineages of their ancestors, teachers, and lived experience. Having completed the MSW/MPH dual degree program at the University of Washington in 2021, Patanjali draws on their background as a counselor to integrate therapeutic practices into their facilitation style. in They are a doula, facilitator, herbalist, healer, and parent. Their work plays with ideas of liberation, healing, justice, and sacred returning.  A former apprentice at Pottery Northwest, when Patanjali isn’t at the pottery studio, you can find them in the mountains, at the farmer’s market, or hanging with their kiddo.
