Alison Grimm

Grimm works in a variety of media including sculpture, ceramic, and paper collage. When it comes to clay, Grimm’s interest lies in both the functional and sculptural - you are likely to find her throwing pots or hanging out in the handbuilding studio on any given day. “Clay is healing and fun, simple yet profound… I find so much joy immersing myself in the process of creating with this great medium. As a material it is very accessible yet challenging - a relationship built over time and practice.“

Grimm completed her BA in Sculpture from the University of Puget Sound (2012), and MFA in Sculpture from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan (2018).
