Join ceramics works rock star and recent UW grad Jai Sallay-Carrington for a special artist talk. Jai will be discussing their use of sculpture as journaling and methods of initiating conversations, to work through and understand their queer and trans identity over the course of many years. They will also go over the path their career took; traveling to many artist residencies through multiple countries, how their art was perceived differently in these places, and how these contexts gave them new understandings of their work.

The talk will take place in the Gallery at Pottery Northwest where we will have a stunning exhibition of Jai's work on display. The talk will be followed by an exhibition reception from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and participants will have a chance to meet Jai and ask questions throughout the evening.

Don't miss it! Space is limited, so please RSVP by adding this event to your cart and going through check out. It is free and open to all!
