Release Your Spirits: Intermediate Handbuilding Workshop

This will be a 2-Day Workshop:

Day 1: Tuesday, August 6th, 6:00PM - 9:00PM

Day 2: Tuesday, August 13th, 6:00PM - 9:00PM

In this two-session workshop, you will learn techniques for building small (3” x 3”) and/ or medium (6”x6”) spirit masks. In week one, the class will begin by using a plaster mold to make a base, “face” shape, then students will be taught how to personalize it. 

During the second session, the instructor will guide you through their approach for glazing and non-ceramic surface design.

This is an Intermediate Workshop. Prior handbuilding experience is recommended.

• We are in Pioneer Square, so please plan ahead so that you have enough time to park. You don’t want to miss anything!

• Workshops do not grant you Studio Access outside of your workshop time.
