Mini Keepsake Altars: Handbuilding Workshop

Have you ever wanted a special place to hold your small precious keepsakes? Pebbles from the beach? Interesting shells or crystals? Well come and create your own custom keepsake hanging altar!

In this workshop students will create a small-to-medium sized altar using hand building techniques. The instructor will lead you through all steps of the process - coming up with a design, preparing the clay, building your piece and finishing with surface decorations and underglazes. The final piece will be glazed and fired in our kilns at the studio, resulting in a gorgeous, personalized mini altar you can use and cherish forever!

This is an All-Levels Workshop. All skill levels are welcome.

• We are in Pioneer Square, so please plan ahead so that you have enough time to park. You don’t want to miss anything!

• Workshops do not grant you Studio Access outside of your workshop time.
