Join me for a fabulous ceramics class where we’ll dive into the art of screen printing on ceramic objects! We’ll kick things off with the basics—wedging clay, crafting your desired pieces by hand building or wheel throwing, and using the screen printing process to apply our glazes like a superstar. You’ll create chic cups, adorable bowls, bodacious boxes, and stylish cylinders while mastering the fundamentals of ceramic artistry.

The real showstopper? We’ll conquer screen printing! You’ll learn how to burn your own screen and pick the perfect images to transform your creations into extraordinary works of art.

By the end of this fabulous journey, you’ll strut out with absolutely stunning finished pieces and a solid understanding of studio safety and maintenance.

I love to start with structured instruction, but then it’s all about YOU and your creativity! As we delve deeper into screen printing, let’s embrace your individuality—because your pottery should be as unique as you are! No prior experience? No problem—just bring your fabulous self and let’s make some magic!

There is a $25 materials fee added to the price of this class.

On Thursday January 23rd this class will meet at the Pratt Fine Arts Center's printmaking studio where each student will get to burn their own silk screen!

This is an All Levels class. No prior experience is required.
