In this class we will go over the basics of throwing on the wheel. Starting off with cylinders, we will build up to shaping cylindrical forms into mugs that are trimmed with attachments. We will then learn how to glaze our pieces, and throw a bowl.

I like to teach by leading with instruction, but then letting each student explore their own creativity. Each of you will be guided and encouraged to explore your own personal styles as we move through the more advanced forms. Individuality is highly encouraged!

Note: This is an 8-week class. There will be no class on 10/14 and 11/11 due to the federal holidays.

This is a Beginner Level Class. No prior clay experience is necessary.
