Warm up your creativity this season with a festive introduction to working with clay! In this cozy, hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to build your very own cocoa mug from scratch using slab-building techniques — no prior clay experience needed.
Our friendly instructors will guide you step by step, from shaping the clay to forming a handle, and then show you a variety of simple decorating methods so you can personalize your mug with your own unique style — think cozy textures, hand-drawn patterns, or even a name tag for your favorite winter drinker.
After the workshop, our studio techs will take care of the glazing and firing process to make your mug fully functional and food-safe. Your handmade masterpiece will be ready for sipping hot cocoa, tea, or coffee — just in time for chilly evenings!
Come solo or bring a friend — it’s the perfect seasonal activity to get your hands messy, make something useful, and leave with a mug full of memories.
This is an All-Levels Workshop. All skill levels are welcome. Minors are permitted if they are accompanied by an adult. Tickets are priced per luminary, so if you are bringing a younger child and want to work on one luminary together, then only one ticket is needed.
