Pigmented Porcelain

Are you ready to get colorful? Mason stains are a great way to achieve vibrant colors in your clay work, without the frustration of glazing. In this class we will dive into the wonderful world of mason stains. During this class, we’ll cover the basic “how-to’s” as well as how to level up your pigment game to achieve consistent results. We will cover various techniques such as inlay, marbling, gradients and nerikomi. This class will be skill building based versus project based, however we will be covering basic slab building techniques as well how to use bisque molds and found objects to create beautiful dishes and bowls.

This is an All Levels Class. No prior clay experience is necessary, but it helps!
