Michael Hong (he/him/his) was born in Korea, but has spent a majority of early life in Los Angeles, California. He received his BFA from University of Southern California, and a MA from the California State University, Northridge. Currently a candidate for a Masters of Fine Art in 3D4M from the University of Washington. His lived experience as an Asian immigrant serves as the primary reference for his work, through which he deconstructs the cultural-historical baggage that largely define this experience.
