Timothy Fox is a classically trained potter and educator creating both functional wares and sculptural work informed by his military and maritime experience. Drawing on the visual language of ships, anchors, and maritime craft, his ceramics explore trade, power, violence, and cultural memory while remaining rooted in traditions of making and everyday use. Fox recently earned his MFA in Ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art and lives and teaches in Seattle.
