Pat Colyar has been teaching ceramics in the Seattle area since 1988, at Seward Park Clay Studio, Kirkland Arts Center, Bellevue College, Digipen, and other locations, and also has worked as a production potter. After all these years, she still enjoys introducing people to the joy of throwing, and enabling them to follow their vision in clay.
